Onion bhaji

The onion bhaji, in the UK, is usually used as an appetiser or even a snack in a lot of Indian takeaways or restaurants. The main ingredient of onion bhaji is fried onion. A traditional bhaji recipe consists of onions being chopped which is then made into batter using either gram flour or chick peas. Also included are herbs and spices. The bhaji is then fried until ready. Different types of bhaji can also be found such as Potato or Mushroom.
